Albert Rees Welsh Produce Merchants

A family business set up in 1962 by Albert & Brenda Rees, who followed the family tradition of purveying local Welsh produce and bacon curing that has its roots going back to the 1800s. Specialist suppliers of Albert's original air dried ham and bacon from our own pigs that are reared at the family farm Birbwll where possible.

Since Albert & Brenda's retirement in 1989, the business was split between both their sons, Jonathan and Christopher. These are now two completely separate business establishments, with Jonathan and his wife Dana taking over the markets in Fishguard and Brecon.

All our products are hand sliced and lovingly prepared by a member of our family for your satisfaction at the highest quality. The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of cheap prices are forgotten.
